Job Title: Superintendent – High-Rise Residential

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Company Overview:
We are a reputable General Contractor specializing in high-rise residential projects across the GTA. With a strong track record of delivering complex multi-residential developments, we pride ourselves on quality, safety, and efficient project execution.

Position Overview:
The Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day site operations of high-rise residential projects. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate trades, manage site staff, and act as the main point of contact for all on-site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site staff, and suppliers.

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure proper execution.

  • Lead and enforce Health & Safety programs on-site.

  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report regularly to the Project Manager.

  • Ensure inspections, testing, and quality control measures are carried out.

  • Maintain site documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.

  • Foster strong working relationships with consultants, trades, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably on high-rise residential projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-trade crews and maintain schedules.

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

  • Gold Seal Certification or equivalent considered an asset.
