We are a leading boutique swim school dedicated to providing high-quality swimming programs and promoting water safety. Our team of experienced instructors is committed to delivering exceptional instruction and ensuring a positive and enjoyable learning experience for all participants.
We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified swim instructors to join our team in Kanata. As a senior swim instructor, you will play a crucial role in teaching swimming techniques, promoting water safety, and fostering a love for swimming among our students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct private and semi-private swimming lessons for children and adults of various skill levels, following our established curriculum and lesson plans.
- Provide personalized instruction and guidance to each student, ensuring their safety and progress in the water.
- Assess students' swimming abilities and make necessary adjustments to instruction to meet individual needs.
- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing techniques, and water safety skills.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop confidence and enjoy swimming.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Valid SFA and CPR-C, and NL required.
- Previous experience as a swim instructor is required.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with children and adults of all ages.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional instruction.
