Job Description

Our leading healthcare client is looking for a ServiceNow HRSD Developer to join their team on a 3 month term. This will be a remote contract.


Role Overview:

The ServiceNow HRSD Developer / Technical Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions, along with managing collaboration and endpoint management platforms across the organization. This role ensures high-quality, secure, and efficient HR operations while supporting governance, compliance, and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage deep HRSD expertise to streamline HR workflows, enhance employee experiences, and drive continuous platform improvements, while also contributing to broader IT initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and administer ServiceNow HRSD modules, including case management, employee lifecycle events, knowledge management, and service catalogs.
  • Build complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to optimize HR service delivery.
  • Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
  • Plan, configure, and support collaboration and endpoint management platforms, ensuring availability, security, and high data quality.
  • Manage Active Directory environments, including Group Policy administration.
  • Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, data migration, and application enhancements.
  • Apply HRSD best practices, ITIL/ITSM principles, and industry standards to improve HR and IT processes.
  • Develop governance frameworks, controls, audits, and compliance reports for HR and IT operations.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions in a hybrid or distributed work environment.
  • Identify automation opportunities and process improvements to reduce operational overhead.
  • Produce technical documentation and communicate solutions in business-friendly language.


Qualifications:

  • College diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in diverse and complex IT environments, including 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow HRSD development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HRSD modules: case management, employee lifecycle, service catalog, and knowledge management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript/GlideScript), workflows, business rules, UI policies, and platform customization.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, Flow Designer).
  • Working knowledge of collaboration and endpoint architecture, Active Directory, and ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service orientation.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.


Certifications (Preferred):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • HRSD, EAM, and ITSM ServiceNow certifications
  • ITIL certification preferred


Technical Skills & Expertise:

  • Advanced ServiceNow scripting, platform customization, and workflow automation
  • HRSD lifecycle event configuration and service delivery optimization
  • Integration with third-party systems, data migration, and platform upgrades
  • Agile development processes, sprint planning, and release management
