Shop Manager – Manufacturing Operations
Location: Mississauga, ON
Compensation: Up to $140,000 annual base salary (based on experience)

A leading manufacturing organization in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to oversee day-to-day production operations, drive efficiency, and lead a disciplined, skilled, and safety-focused workforce.
This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who excels in planning, problem-solving, and building strong teams in a fast-paced shop environment.

What You’ll Lead

  • Full oversight of shop workflow, including scheduling production to meet delivery timelines
  • Coordination between welding, screen, passivation, and shipping departments
  • Daily review and processing of work-order drawings
  • Inspection of incoming specialty or machined materials
  • Ensuring all equipment and processes are functioning safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-driven work environment
  • Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, Supervisor Lead, Project Manager, and General Manager
  • Preparing shipping lists and ensuring timely completion of orders
  • Mentoring team members and developing future lead hands
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all departments
