Job Description

Job Title: Skid Steer Operator (Snow removal)
Location: Hamilton Ontario.
Pay: $ $31.00 per hour
Vacancy: 1

QUALIFICATIONS AND OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driver's abstract.
  • Minimum of 1 - 3-year experience in similar role.
  • Must have the ability to load equipment safely onto floats.
  • Strong knowledge or recognition of equipment as well as proper maintenance techniques.



SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Self motivated.
  • Show the ability and desire to problem solve.
  • Ability to think as a team player.
  • Ability to do physical work.
  • Respect of staff and clients.
  • Respect for on-site safety.
  • Tolerance to various weather conditions.



GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate only equipment you are trained and authorized to use.
  • Complete required daily operator checklists.
  • Follow manufacturer operating procedures for each machine.
  • Communicate immediately regarding equipment issues, warning indicators, or damage.
  • Coordinate equipment servicing needs with the Equipment & Yard Superintendent.
  • Support labour duties when equipment operation is not needed.
  • Respond to snow removal operations as required (24/7 availability during events).
  • Work in all outdoor weather conditions.
  • Respond 24/7 when called on for snow removal.
