The position will be filled based on the combination of education, experience and job fit.

Posting closes: April 9, 2023 This is a sales and advisory role accountable for delivering superior personalized service and achieving individual performance objectives through Cash Management, Member acquisition, deposit gathering and growing the wallet share of our members. In this role – your goal is to understand member needs and present solutions that assist them in meeting their financial fitness goals while deepening and expanding the business relationship. You will primarily work with existing and new micro, and small business members across all channels by providing expert advice, building trust and delivering customized solutions over the phone, digitally and face to face. Working closely with retail branches and business banking, you will implement a proactive approach to sales and business development by cultivating a strong working relationship with existing and potential members More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Establish a network of referral sources including associations, accountants, lawyers and trade associations with a focus on business expansion with existing members and new business acquisitions Manage incoming referrals in a timely manner and identify opportunities to be referred to internal and external partners Develop and maintain an effective business development plan and community involvement strategy; maintain tracking of all business activity and provide timely status updates Communicate product and service information, address objections and ensure profitability of membership through assessment of interest rates and service charges Ensure member complaints are handled in accordance with our service standards, escalating issues when necessary Provide guidance and support to Servus employees in all specialized services as a subject matter expert A minimum of 2- 5 years of financial institution experience Basic understanding of Commercial Credit Analysis Ability to review and understand financial statements is preferred Familiarity with cash management/business banking services A strong knowledge of the banking system, particularly business demands, investments, products and audit processes University Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education The Associate role is developmental in nature and as such the expectation is to continue to gain knowledge through training and coaching.
