<h3>About the role</h3>
<p>Join the technology and Business Transformation Team in the Software Developer, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations position, where the next generations of software applications are being developed to enable CMHC to achieve its mission. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders in order to ensure business requirements are understood and met, all while supporting continuous improvement through CMHC's ERP system.</p>
<p><b>This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.</b></p>
<h3>What you'll do:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the client community to determine their system needs, document the current and proposed business processes, and advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.</li>
<li>Author technical specification documents and diagrams for new and existing solutions.</li>
<li>Configure integration with other CMHC systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and other Azure components such as Function Apps, Logic Apps, APIs.</li>
<li>Participate in the testing and defect resolution process and deployment activities.</li>
<li>Stay updated on new Dynamics 365 features, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve system capabilities.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you should have:</h3>
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.</li>
<li>A minimum of 1 year of experience as a software developer and strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform and X++ development.</li>
<li>An ability to apply development best practices.</li>
<li>A passion for technology and motivation that is driven by technical challenges and innovation.</li>
<li>A desire to continuously grow your expertise through learning and professional development.</li>
<li>Proven interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Experience in developing code using Visual Studio and X++.</li>
<li>Knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git, SQL and Relational database management systems.</li>
</ul>
<h3>It would be great if you also had:</h3>
<ul>
<li>A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certification.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.</li>
</ul>
