As Quorum’s Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for Quality Analysis (QA) testing across two (2) scrum teams consisting of 10 Software Developers of various levels in total. The SDET role will also engage with all other QA roles within the company ensure testing best practices are used across all scrum teams.



Here is what we will expect from you at work:



Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of our software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
Execute automated and manual tests to identify and report defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Continuously improve and expand the test automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.
Monitor and analyze test results, providing actionable insights to improve product quality and performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and automation.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and orestraction tools (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, RXCloud)

Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SDET or similar role in a software development environment at the intermediate level.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, XUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
