
Aquatic Informatics
The Software Engineer is an integral part of the Predictive Analytics team, playing a crucial role in ensuring team efficiency, continuous enhancement of our software development processes, and taking the lead in designing and developing Aquatic Informatics’ products. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-native applications, particularly in one of the following technologies: .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Angular, JS, SQL, or Python. Key Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer in the Predictive Analytics team, your responsibilities will include:Engaging in end-to-end development of cloud native applications on AWS and Azure platforms.Leading the conceptualization, documentation, implementation, and resolution of features.Collaborating seamlessly with the team to deliver high-quality features within stipulated timelines, actively participating in requirements, design and code review processes.Breaking down tasks into actionable components and providing accurate time estimates.Delivering maintenance solutions for existing features to ensure product stability.Performing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to maintain software integrity.Overseeing and refining build and test environments for improved efficiency.Qualifications:A post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.5 years of experience in constructing and maintaining intricate, scalable commercial enterprise systems. Expertise in .NET, C#, and related Microsoft technologies.Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development practices.Preferred:Prior experience in cloud-native development using AWS or Azure platforms is highly preferred.Familiarity with Angular, React, Vue or similar frameworks.Previous leadership experience or a background as a Scum Master is a valuable asset.
