The Common is seeking to fill the Sous Chef position Responsibilities: • Opening and closing • line work • prep • line organization • inspection of prep and quality of dishes • proper execution of methods • management of line staff • weekly management meeting • bring your own flair and charm with your management style • put the food, and the guests experience first Job Requirements: • 1-2 years of management experience of a similar role • 7 years of cooking experience • strong leadership skills • a passion for techniques and food • Culinary education or Culinary Management courses are an asset • clear communication skills • Motivation for advancement • Ability to pick up supplies is an asset We offer competitive wages, paid sick days and a wonderful work environment with opportunity for advancement in a growing locally owned company We are looking for someone with a passion for food to share in the journey of creating new and exciting dishes as well as oversee their execution.
