Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Base Salary: $105,000–$145,000
Project Type: Commercial building construction
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial building projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who takes pride in job site leadership, quality execution, and schedule-driven results.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for commercial building projects
- Manage day-to-day job site operations, sequencing, and coordination of trades
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field issues
- Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to plan
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers, inspectors, and design teams
- Ensure quality control from mobilization through project closeout

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven background leading commercial building projects (office, retail, healthcare, education, mixed-use, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules
- Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing job site safety
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership of the job site and lead by example
