Requisition Title:

Senior Systems Analyst - Imaging and Payment Systems

Pay Rate: CAD$70- CAD$80/hr

Location: Oshawa, Ontario, Canada

Description:

The Senior Systems Analyst will support operations, maintenance, and decommissioning activities for a large-scale imaging and payment processing application (ImageOn). The role involves ensuring system stability, troubleshooting production issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and supporting the transition to a new replacement platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support and monitoring of imaging and payment systems, file transfers, and integrations.
• Manage incidents, tickets, and escalation processes; perform root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Verify system performance, backups, transmissions, and environment readiness.
• Support decommissioning and transition activities related to the legacy application.
• Write and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, VBScript).
• Coordinate system patching, releases, and vendor activities.
• Maintain system documentation, access controls, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with ImageOn or similar large-scale imaging/payment systems.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012 R2/2019), Active Directory, SQL Server, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with file transfer tools and protocols (MFT, MoveIT, Connect: Direct).
• Proven troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, infrastructure components, and change/release management.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and tracking results.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of document imaging and digital capture technologies.
• Understanding of information management practices and systems lifecycle processes.
