Description: We are looking for an experienced Category Operation Specialist for the Taobao platform focusing on overseas Chinese consumers resided in Canada. This position will be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Responsibilities: 1.

Responsible for Taobao’s category operations in Canada, able to formulate and implement specific category planning and channel operation plans, as well as process tracking and data analysis, to ensure the execution effects of various plans; 2. Understand the shopping needs of local consumers and be able to make accurate judgments on popular products; 3. Participate in various promotional activities on Taobao Canada website, create hot-selling products that are loved by local consumers, and increase annual sales; 4.

Cooperate with the China headquarters team on projects, be able to integrate resources, and be responsible for key results of category operations; 5. Responsible for promoting the logistics construction from China to Canada and improving user experience. Requirement 1.

Bachelor degree or above, more than 4 years of product operation experience in local platform e-commerce websites or large-scale retail online stores in China or Canada. Applicants with equivalent work experience in well-known companies will be given priority; 2. Be able to independently plan products and online activities for the Canadian market, be very familiar with well-known brands and hot-selling products on the Taobao platform, and have strong ability to select products and judge trends; 3.

Strong data analysis capabilities and be familiar with supply chain and cross-border logistics. 4. Excellent proficiency in both Chinese and English, and can be used for work and business communication. Strong sense of responsibility and pressure resistance, strong teamwork ability, and know how to be results-oriented 5.

This position is based in downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be able to accept work across time differences in China and Canada. Cross-border interviews, onboarding, or overseas remote work will not be accepted.
