Our client in the professional services sector is looking for a contract bases Technical Architect to work on overall design and archiecture of .Net based web solutions.
Duration: 9 months
Location: Hybrid downtown Calgary (2 – 3d/week)
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable web application architecture using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code and integrate applications with Azure cloud services and Active Directory.
- Ensure adherence to design patterns and best practices in software architecture.
- Lead the integration of complex systems with Azure and manage identity solutions using Active Directory.
- Analyze project requirements and create architectural solutions that are scalable, resilient, and efficient.
- Collaborate with project managers and IT teams to effectively communicate architectural plans and strategies.
- Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and agile practices within the development team.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, enhancing their skills and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities, providing innovative solutions to complex technical issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience. as a Technical Architect or similar role
- Knowledge of web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Angular, ASP.NET Core API, SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud platform Azure.
- Knowledge on Active Directory integration with Asp.net core or similar technologies
- Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
