Role Summary: The Technical Sales Manager (Coating and Overlay Solutions) will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Coating and Overlay operations. This position will work across operations, engineering, and customer service functions, providing leadership and technical expertise to both manage existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities. You will be a key representative of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning operational goals with customer needs.

Your role will involve strategic sales planning, client management, and ensuring successful project lifecycle execution. The position requires 30-40% travel within Alberta and Western Canada , with some international travel . This is an onsite position located in Nisku Alberta.

Role Responsibilities: 1. Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients to support long-term partnerships. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by meeting their needs and resolving any issues effectively. 2.

Revenue Growth: Identify and create new business opportunities within existing client accounts to drive revenue. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aimed at capturing market share from competitors. 3. Operational Support: Collaborate closely with Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely proposals are developed for customers.

Oversee the execution of jobs from initial sales through to delivery, ensuring all customer deliverables are met. 4. Failure Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Provide input from failure analysis to improve product offerings and client satisfaction. Work with teams to address any deficiencies and implement corrective actions. 5.

Vendor Development: Lead the identification and development of vendors who can help meet operational goals. 6. Sales Research & Prospecting: Conduct thorough market research to assess potential customers and new market opportunities. Identify, engage, and qualify new customers leads, converting them into long-term relationships. 7.

Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, converting leads into sales and repeat business. 8. Networking & Industry Events: Represent Kymera International at trade shows and industry events to maintain a strong presence in the market and foster industry relationships. 9. Professional Development: Continuously enhance technical knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and professional networking.

Qualifications: Education: Post-secondary studies in engineering (chemical, manufacturing, material, or process), science, or business are preferred, or 8-10 years of relevant business development experience. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in refinery operations or a similar industry is preferred. Transferable experience will be considered.

Previous experience in sales and management is highly preferred. Skills: Technical skills: Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced).

Strong leadership, communication, sales, and customer service abilities. Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
