Technical Transformation Lead

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Transformation Lead to join one of Canada’s largest retail and wellness companies. The ideal candidate will be joining the Platform Engineering team that is responsible for providing enhanced platform experience to the technical teams within the organization. The Transformation Program Lead will be responsible for the overall delivery of a new transformation program across 3+ functions within lululemon across the technology organization. The Program lead will oversee the project managers, communication team, business analysts, and engineers responsible for tactical delivery of key projects within the program. They will work closely with product partners, technology/business stakeholders, architecture, portfolio, core delivery teams, and core delivery teams. This role will report up to the technology director over enterprise engineering and will have the below responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall delivery of well-established capability in the program from planning to development for transformational efforts across the technology organization to optimize and standardize best practices.
  • Craft and communicate a clear purpose for the transformation office.
  • Establish accountability and participation. Assist in building a balanced transformation office team. – Lead in building iterative roadmap.
  • Organize Change Management and Delivery Management.
  • Clearly understand and evangelize business and technology architecture improvements.
  • Continue in communications and internal marketing of the transformation program.
  • Lead insight driven continuous improvement.


Must-Haves:

  • Has 5+ years of experience supporting Technical Transformations across large enterprise environments focused on platform improvements
  • Proven experience in leading the strategic path and delivery of multiple portfolio management capabilities such as developer experience, data driven insights, capacity planning, dependency management, resource management, budget management, etc.
  • Ability to operate with low degree of ambiguity, leveraging existing processes and tools with guidance from Technology Director – transformation is ambiguous and there isn’t a ton of structure
  • Experience in managing DevOps and Agile Delivery teams.
  • Passion for problem solving with an ability to excel in an ambiguous environment.
  • Proven results working with global and remote teams across different time zones.
