Position Overview
Detail Technician – Detail Specialist. Responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to maintain U-Haul’s high quality customer service.

Primary Responsibilities
- Buff and wax trucks and trailers using various cleaning chemicals
- Work in all weather conditions to accomplish tasks
- Use industry standard safety equipment
- Strip equipment decals and prepare equipment for auction
- Assist in additional areas as needed under supervisor guidance
Minimum Qualifications
- Driver’s license
- Familiarity with towing trailers
Work Environment
The work involves moderate risks requiring special safety precautions, e.g. around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing, masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical Demands
Long periods both indoors and outdoors; traversing spaces; repositioning to reach and use tools; moving a minimum of 50 lbs (23 kg) with or without assistance.
