Telehandler Operator

Peddie Roofing is currently looking to hire telehandler operators with valid ticket certification. Peddie Roofing is a commercial roofing company. Peddie Roofing & Waterproofing Ltd. is a fast paced commercial roofing company with 30 years in the Calgary and area market.

We are currently looking to add to our dynamic team in the form of experienced roofing foremen and roofers that share our values, vision for success, and desire for excellence. Duties include but not limited to: Installing four-ply built-up roof systems Installing two-ply SBS roof systems Installing single-ply EPDM, TPO and PVC Roof Systems Observing and complying with all health and safety regulations Operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment. Respecting and responding to directions given.

Setting up job site as needed. Handling and transporting job materials to the work area in company vehicle as needed. Understanding and complying with all company policies and procedures. Other duties as required.

Requirements for roofers include: Ability to get to sites on time, every day Strong work ethic Strong communication skills Ability to work out of town Ability to be a self-starter Valid Fall Protection Certification Ability to work at heights Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Working outdoors in various weather elements Hazards that are associated with the construction industry Requirements for Foreman include: Min 5 year of experience as a foreman. Experience in Built-Up, SBS, EPDM, TPO PVC Roof Systems Red Seal Journeyman Certificate or equivalent Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a clean drivers abstract Fall Protection Certificate Knowledge of safe operation of tools Time management skills ___________________ Peddie Roofing Waterproofing Ltd
