AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Tool and Die Makers for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario.
This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
You will earn:
- $60.00 per hour before overtime
- $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
- Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
- Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform within tight tolerances
- Experience related to progressive dies, jibs and fixtures
- Expertise with shave tooling
- Expertise on European mutli cavity tooling development
- In die sensing and measuring expertise
- Familiarity with Automotive environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified Tool and Die Maker (430 A)
- Strong Mathematical Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
