AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Tool and Die Makers for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario.

This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

  • $60.00 per hour before overtime
  • $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
  • Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
  • Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to perform within tight tolerances
  • Experience related to progressive dies, jibs and fixtures
  • Expertise with shave tooling
  • Expertise on European mutli cavity tooling development
  • In die sensing and measuring expertise
  • Familiarity with Automotive environment

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certified Tool and Die Maker (430 A)
  • Strong Mathematical Skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
