Trade Marketing Specialist Work setting : Hybrid, in person in Vancouver office one/two day(s) per week. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time (37.5) hours per week of services Start date : August 22, 2024 Duration of the contract : 8 months with the possibility of extension Reports to : Manager, Trade Marketing QUALIFICATIONS A university degree or diploma in a related discipline such as business or marketing. 3 years recent, related experience in consumer trade marketing/customer marketing. Experience in marketing, advertising, and branding, in the area of retail marketing.
CPG experience is a bonus. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. PREFERRED SKILLS Sound knowledge of principles, concepts, practices in the areas of retail marketing.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze business situations and develop solutions. Proven experience in delivering consumer-centric marketing. Demonstrated ability to be highly creative and innovative.
Proven experience in agency management (advertising, media, experiential, merchandizing). Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task with close attention to detail. Ability to be flexible and work around dynamic schedules with ease.
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative in nature. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Adobe, web-based programs).
SERVICES In lock step with Key Account team, drive the implementation of the Lottery trade marketing strategy in collaboration with all Omni Marketing, Lottery Product, Field Sales, and Operational Teams. Accountable the end-to-end development of promotional creative assets, operational logistical plans, and in trade activation for Key Account initiatives. Become liaison between creative resources (internally & externally), Operations, Channel and Key Account team.
Collect, manage, and maintain Key Account partner promotional capabilities such as partner promotional calendars, creative assets, creative spec sheets etc. Disseminate key info to internal stakeholders. Provide key insights and recommendations to the Manager, Trade Marketing regarding opportunities to evolve tactics, improve results, or generate incremental revenues.
Proactively stay on top of retail industry trends. Share best practices and insights across the business.
