Yaletown Pet Hospital is currently welcoming a Veterinarian to join our team!

YPH is unlike any clinic in downtown Vancouver. We are a progressive multi-doctor practice in a modern facility (with further renovations underway) with an incredible work family. We are seeking an experienced full-time licensed DVM to join in on our collaborative group approach to veterinary medicine. Our support staff are phenomenal, and we have weekly meetings to educate our team and work on improving our client service and patient care together. Our exceptional client base is well-established and continuing to grow.

Who You Are:

You are a well-rounded person with a fantastic sense of humor, you take pride in your work, you have great initiative and you are an efficient multi-tasker. You thrive in a busy practice environment and you enjoy a challenge. You are confident and have at least 2 years of clinical experience. You are a strong leader of your team of support staff and you practice a high standard of personalized medicine. You go above and beyond for clients to create memorable experiences and share our core values of teamwork, empathy, honesty, communication and respect.

As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team, to provide the best care possible. We are dedicated to your continuous learning and offer extensive in-house resources.   • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada 

  • Experience in; soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice. 

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community 

  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey 

  • An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues 

  • A love for all companion animals!! 

  • Your Role & The Perks:

    To promote a healthy work-life balance, we schedule 4 shifts per week at 10 hours each. We offer a competitive salary and which is dependent on your experience.
