Vice President Finance

VANCOUVER, BC – We are excited to have been retained by a local successful and scaling real estate firm to fill a seat on their senior leadership team of Vice President of Accounting & Finance . As a key member of the senior leadership team and head of finance and accounting, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional business leaders to provide vital financial support in driving analysis, strategy, decision making and fostering business growth. Leading a talented team of accounting professionals, you will spearhead the planning, implementation, and management of all financial and technological activities within the company. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to oversight of general accounting, financial reporting, project & property accounting, FP&A, deal analysis, treasury/cash management, tax planning & compliance, financing, as well as managing the outsourced IT function.

To be successful in this role, you are a designated accountant with 10 years progressive experience in the real estate industry, ideally with a portfolio of income producing properties. Leadership is one of your greatest strengths and passions. You take pleasure in mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and helping all to reach their full potential.
