We have an immediate opening for the Vice President, Inventory Planning position for our office located in Richmond, BC or Richmond Hill, ON or Calgary, AB. (currently 3 days in the office, subject to changes). The Vice President, Inventory Planning is part of our senior leadership team and the key person responsible for Peak’s 24-year history and reputation of being 100.0% in stock.

Always stay 100.0% in stock The key person accountable for proactively maintaining Peak’s 24-year record and legacy of never short shipping our customer. Lead the overall execution of inventory forecasting, inventory planning & replenishment functions to ensure that we are always in stock with the right quantities in the right locations, and able to ship every order on time within the 48-hour window. Oversee purchase order execution and monitor production across a growing number of countries to ensure that shipment schedules are being met (or expedited where required).

Balance inventories in multiple distribution centers to support never short shipping. 2. Collaborate with your team and in conjunction with all key partners, internal & external Lead, inspire and continuously develop a high performing inventory team with individuals who are passionate about numbers and are able to identify issues at the earliest possible outset. Work closely and collaboratively with our suppliers to ensure consistent and on time supply. Continuously collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners such as the logistics team, production team and sales team to ensure we continue to honor our commitment of shipping 100% Complete, 100% On Time and 100% Compliance. 3.

Lead implementation of new MRP and other support systems Champion the implementation and ongoing execution of a new MRP and Advanced Forecasting & Planning system. Oversee the inventory and item strategy from an ERP system management perspective. Drive continuous initiatives to improve vendor performance, forecasting and replenishment process efficiencies and other areas of cost out. Experience & Qualifications: 1.

Demonstrate a progressive career growth with at least 3 years in a Director or Vice President level role leading a team in a medium to large organization, overseeing sales demand forecasting, inventory management and leading a high-performance inventory team. 2. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, or a related discipline. Candidate with MBA or CPIM designation will be an asset. 3. Highly proficient with all aspects of a Microsoft or equivalent ERP/MRP system, Advanced Forecasting & Planning module/system, with proven experience in the lead role of implementation. 1.

We offer an outstanding compensation package. Starting base salary at $180,000 per annum with upside depending on the level of your experience and history of results.
