Were looking for a VP, IT & Security who is energized by building resilient and secure systems and excited to drive a security-first culture while enabling business growth through robust IT and security strategies. In this role, youll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeedwhile shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact

As a VP, IT & Security you'll work with executive leadership, product development, engineering, and operations teams to:

• Lead and inspire cultural transformation, championing a security-first mindset across the company
• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT & Security strategy, ensuring data security, compliance, and system reliability on a global scale
• Prepare Vendasta for SOC II audit readiness, ensuring best-in-class security practices
• Integrate security and risk management into product development, engineering, and corporate operations
• Oversee security measures for future acquisitions and ensure seamless integration with Vendastas infrastructure
• Enhance compliance capacity with privacy regulations including PIPEDA, POPI, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and drive governance initiatives
• Strengthen IT operations to improve execution, system resilience, and scalable security frameworks

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven executive leadership experience in IT & Security, preferably in a high-growth global organization.
• Strong operational expertise, with a track record of improving executional focus and driving efficiency in IT & security teams.
• Deep knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, including SOC II, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated success in leading cultural transformation, embedding security into every layer of an organization.
• Experience building and leading high-performing security and IT teams, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Ability to navigate complex security challenges, prioritize initiatives effectively, and deliver measurable impact.
