Under the responsibility of the Warehouse Supervisor, the fork-lift driver, order picker, shipper and receiver:

– While respecting procedures, unloads the raw materials and packages and prepares the orders for shipment according to the purchase orders
– Sees to the quantity and quality of received goods;
– Makes sure to identify the products correctly;
– Makes sure to correctly scan the products and that the orders are complete;
– Makes sure that products are safely stored in the right place;
– Communicates with the Warehouse Manager all pertinent information;
– May have to dispose of interior and/or exterior trash outside in a specific bin and may have to participate in the cleaning of the yard;
– Operates his lift truck in a safe way;
– Makes sure to respect and apply good practices for the maintenance of his department’s workstations;
– Sees to the good maintenance of his working equipment (lift truck);
– On a day to day basis, ensures that he meets hygiene, safety and sanitary conditions; complies to health and safety government rules and regulations as well as environmental ones; that permanent and appropriate corrective measures be taken immediately. – – Wears required equipment and personal protective equipment;
– Any other related tasks assigned.

High School Degree and one year of experience in a similar position

Be able to lift 50 pounds many times a day

Certified forklift operator

Good mathematical aptitudes

Coordination and dexterity

Experience in storage and distribution logistics

Sense of planning and organization

Time and priorities management
