Scope of the Position:

The warehouse manager is responsible for managing the infrastructure and support team within the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager ensures orders are distributed to the customer in an efficient and timely manner while managing and encouraging optimal performance of all direct reports.



Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring customer orders are timely and accurate with regard to receiving, picking, packing and shipping.
  • Reviewing and tracking inventory adjustments.
  • Managing employees by providing direction and motivation, training, and or testing.
  • Providing ongoing formal and informal performance feedback to employees.
  • Monitoring processes to ensure compliance.
  • Providing productivity and efficiency reporting while maintaining overall optimal performance.
  • Managing physical counts and/or cycle counts.
  • Continuously monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards and initiatives.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting as required.
  • Ensuring product storage is organized in a way to maximize productivity, space and safety.
  • Resolving day to day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
  • Additional duties as required.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • University/College degree an asset.
  • Courses in Inventory and/or Warehouse Distribution preferred.
