You will work from our Head Quarters in Calgary, SE. You will be a key member of our Operations Team. Helping to develop and drive our growing warehouse, sample manufacturing and paint teams to the next level. If you have solid leadership skills, enjoy developing teams and cultivating change and improvement, this role is for you.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Keep Sales Order tracking software and ERP up to date
* Ensure employees are following company HSE policy and procedures
* Manage the warehouse, sample, and paint teams so scheduled goals are met
* Communicate with other operations team departments to plan, schedule, direct and execute warehouse and production activities
* Review payroll, approve vacation, and submit hours to accounting
* Hire and manage headcount of all warehousing groups
* Enter Purchase orders for consumable materials and monitor spending on warehouse supplies
* Plan and execute regular inventory counts
* Plan manpower between groups and develop team leaders to effectively manage their groups
* Ensure maintenance and cleaning schedules are being followed for equipment
* Help drive change and improvement in process and procedure with teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Required
* Experience supervisor or managing groups of 25+people (Min. 4 years) Required
* Ability to mentor and develop team members
* Experience leading and motivating teams towards production goals
* Experience with basic payroll approval and entry
* Experience with scaling company an asset
* Experience with the basics of managing large inventories
* Experience with base Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Experience with 5S and lean principles seen as a major asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
