Responsibilities

• Oversee the warehouse facility, including inventory control, management and participation in the audit process as required.
• Manage the warehouse team of staff (6-7 team members), including training/ development, performance management and scheduling/ time management of staff.
• Assist Crop Supply Manager and Assistant Crop Supply Manager with inventory procurement.
• Be responsible for the coordination and hands-on execution of operational duties; including customer service and support, receiving, storing, and filling requisitions/ work orders from customers/ applicators.
• Coordinate loading of product on trucks for delivery to branches and producers and work closely with delivery drivers.
• Operate forklift for extended periods of time and maintain the facility and grounds to meet CPIC standards.
• Ensure efficient and safe processes are exercised by the team at all times.

Requirements

• Must have strong knowledge of chemical and warehouse operations and organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Previous commodity and team management experience preferred.
• Position classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and extended hours.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform heavy lifting.
