Position Title: Warehouse Clerk (Admin Assistant)

Location: Richmond, BC

Full/Part Time: Full Time


Position Status: Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Point of contact with drivers/individuals coming to our warehouse to pick up and/or drop.


Preparing cargo releases using computer systems and emails.

Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently entering information into our systems.

Printing of Reports: Shipping and unloading reports.


Managing the customer window of the warehouse office.

Establish and maintain customer communications for the effective resolution of issues.

Create and update orders in our TMS.


Accepting cash/card payments and submitting payments to AR.

Other tasks as assigned by CS Manager / Warehouse leadership.


Qualifications:

Proficient in MS Office software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.

Warehouse & logistics experience is an asset.

Strong attention to detail.


Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks.

Customer service skills.


A professional attitude and enthusiasm.

Working Conditions:

Normal for a warehouse office environment.


Workstation will be in the dock office located in the warehouse.

Exposed to noise and a regular flow of people around the dock and office area.

Safety vest and safety shoes are required in the warehouse environment.


Other Information:

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work is an asset as public transportation is not available to the main building area.


Education and/or Experience:

2-4 years warehouse experience.

Completion of High School or equivalence.
