Warehouse Operator

At Porter Warehousing & Distribution Inc., is looking for 10 Warehouse Operators to fill openings at multiple locations.

Location/Shift:

P14 Warehouse – Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 1R6
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

P10 Warehouse – Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 2X2
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

P01 Warehouse – Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 2Z3
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Wage: $21.00 per hour OT available.

What will you do?
Operate warehouse material handling equipment.
Work from an order sheet to build loads for transport.
Exhibit strict attention to detail and maintain order accuracy.
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.
Ensure all paperwork is completed to standard.
Confirm pallets/loads are built correctly.
Able to work in ambient and refrigerated work environments.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area.

What you need to Succeed

Must-Have
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have 1 plus years experience on a sit-down forklift, and counterbalance.
Preference given to applicants with 1+ years’ warehouse experience including order picking and stacking products.
Demonstrated strong safety commitment, time-management, verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, and organized
Must be physically fit, be able to stand for long periods, and be comfortable with repetitive lifting.

Nice to Have
Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience.
Reach truck, ride-on electric power jack, and the use of RF scanners.
