<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>The Warehouse Worker is responsible to perform all duties (shipping components, receiving samples, delivering incoming samples and supplies and inventory control) in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures</p><p><br /> Shifts Available: Day ONLY – 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday</p><p>Location: Mississauga</p><p>Pay: $22.00 per hour</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Duties: </p><ul><li> Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required</li><li>Reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace. </li><li>Ensure that the warehouse is maintained daily in a clean and orderly manner to conform to company standards.</li><li>Comply with GMP regulations, SOPS, safety regulations and company policy.</li><li>Ensure the proper maintenance of the material handling equipment.</li><li>Receive lab samples and ship packaging materials in accordance with company policy, customer requirements and cGMP&#39;s.</li><li>Maintain all shipping and receiving information (i.e. Bills of Lading, Packing lists, courier waybills).</li><li>Transfer received materials into warehouse storage and QC Lab in a timely manner. Complete necessary documentation as required.</li><li>Dispose of waste according to SOPs.</li><li>Contribute to achieving Lean Goals and continuous improvement as well as participate in process improvement projects</li><li>Other duties as assigned including but not limited to Keeping warehouse clean, safe and organized.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum high school diploma (post secondary preferred). </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a warehouse.</li><li>Ability to operate and have valid licence for walkie</li><li>Ability to operate a pump truck</li><li>Effective English, written and verbal communication skills required</li><li>Able to utilize a personal computer for data entry is required. Knowledge in SAP</li><li>Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel desired.</li><li>Strong math and excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend SOP’s and other written documentation</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis </li><li>Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands/Working Conditions: </strong></p><ul><li>Lifting device certificate required. </li><li>Manually handling cases of incoming samples.</li><li>Pulling, pushing and pumping with manual pump truck skids up to 400 lbs.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Info:</strong></p><ul><li>Status: Full-Time Only (No part-time positions available)</li><li>Start Dates: TBD</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p><p>If you have the required experience and qualifications, please apply with your current and detailed resume.
