XU – Cleaning Specialist

Job Description. Summary• Janitorial are responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and tidy for the Warehouse Agents. Thisposition requires working in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to meet arrival anddeparture goals. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by theemployee.

“Lead by Example” concept is strongly promoted. • Warehouse Agents-Janitorial must report to work on a regular and timely basis and report directlyto the supervisor and/or manager on duty. Job Duties• Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the warehouse at all times• Assist in set up, cleaning and storage of equipment & warehouse• Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of food and goods, includingloading and offloading• Receive, perform temperature testing and inspection of catering deliveries from our food serviceprovider• Comply with all Sky Café and airline policies• Constantly communicate with other catering personnel, and respective airline communicationcenters if applicable• Performs other duties as requiredRequirements• Be at least 18 years of age• Ability to work on a permanent basis in Canada• Obtain a clear criminal record• Ability to obtain necessary airport and/or Transport Canada security clearances• Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basis• Ability to work within the required time parameters• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules• Must successfully complete airline and corporate specific training programs and recertificationCore Competencies• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently• Operate Equipment in a safe and respectful manner• Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines• Attention to detail in all areas of work• Strong work ethic and positive team attitudeCAHPIND
