Position: Bilingual Business Development Representative

Description
Our client is looking for a Bilingual (English/French) Business Development Representative to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Making outbound calls to new business prospects and existing clients to serve their needs and grow our client base.
- Performing basic research to learn more about our clients and potential clients.
- Generating Sales Orders and Sales Quotations as needed.
- Being capable of handling inbound calls if extra support is required in the customer service department.
- Tracking and reporting your business development activities to the Business Development Manager on a weekly basis.
- Collaborating on the development of outreach campaigns.
- Communicating promotions and other marketing activities to our partners.
- Reaching specified sales and activity targets as set out by the Business Development Manager.
Qualifications
- Bilingual – ability to speak fluently in English and French
- Strong sales acumen.
- Willingness and ability to make warm and cold calls to generate business.
- Proactively pursues opportunities.
- Is effective in an in-person environment, like a tradeshow or store visit.
- Ability to build solid business relationships.
- Takes on responsibility and holds yourself responsible for the execution of those responsibilities.
- Have a drivers license and vehicle and are willing to travel occasionally for tradeshows and other special events.
