Invico is seeking a self-starting sales professional to join our team as Business Development Manager based at our head office in Calgary, AB. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Business Development Manager be an integral part of the regional sales teams and will look to establish new relationships and build upon established relationships with financial advisors within the respective distribution channels. The successful candidate will have an established track record in sales, be technically proficient, and flexible with taking on, learning, and adjusting to all new tasks assigned by the Leadership Team. Eligible candidates will be physically located in Calgary.
Responsibilities
· Develop & uncover new business opportunities via proactive sales calls with new investment advisors and manage existing relationships to continue to drive sales growth.
· Provide ongoing support to dealers & brokers regarding market & fund performance, as well as review portfolio profiles
· Communication with investors and advisors regarding purchases, statements, tax reporting, redemptions and other queries
· Responsible for quarterly fund reporting and ongoing investor relations
· Manage your time amongst multiple sales teams to provide continuing sales and marketing efforts for the Invico Diversified Income Fund and other approved investment solutions under Invico by establishing trusted relationships with advisors from various distribution channels.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of all marketing materials and collateral.
· Assist in the compilation of due diligence packages as required.
· Advocate a culture of firm compliance and adherence to Invico’s policies and procedures
· Ensure sales CRM is up to date with accurate data input and all activities completed by the Employee.
· Any other duties as requested by the Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Team.
Required education and experience
· Bachelor’s degree is required.
· 1-5 years of related work experience required.
· Financial services industry program courses considered a great asset (CSC, IFIC, CFA, CAIA, CFP, CIM, etc.)
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and have excellent organizational skills.

· Intermediate knowledge in Excel and MS Word (this will be tested).
