We are seeking strategist ready to provide recommendations on fundamental analysis and strategic directions to the Liquids Pipelines leadership team? We are looking for a new addition to join our team! In this role you support the development, and assist in the coordination, of LP’s short and long-term business strategy through research, development of strategic thought, financial and competitive analysis, and gathering input from resources within Enbridge.

Please note this is a temporary fixed term position with an approximate end date of September 2025.

What You Will Do:
  • Work with teams across Enbridge to develop strategic alternatives by framing strategy discussions, finding opportunities, threats and signposts, completing competitive & customer analysis, and evaluating LP’s relative strengths & weaknesses.

  • Understand and analyze long-term global & North American demand, supply and pricing fundamentals, including the impact of energy reliability, affordability & transition scenarios, and how these fundamentals and scenarios could impact our assets, growth and market value.

  • Scrutinize third-party forecasts and scenarios, gain an understanding of why these forecasts are different and how they could impact LP’s growth and operating business strategies.

  • Work closely with all groups within LP and capture, prioritize and track progress of key goals and objectives for the current year to support success vs scorecard metrics.

  • Assist planning and development of materials for the LP Leadership Strategy session.

  • Develop messaging and presentation of LP strategy for internal and external audiences.

Who You Are:
  • University Degree(s) in Business, or Engineering (or applicable field) with a MBA, from a strong undergraduate program.

  • 4+ years of progressively responsible and proven experience in energy, energy consulting / finance, commercial or strategy.

  • Strong ability to conceptually frame, develop insights and solve problems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill; able to build a clear narrative.

  • Sophisticated knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

  • Ability to work independently, high degree of self-motivation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
