In this role, you will lead operations spanning front office, reservations, guest services, and shuttle operations, while maintaining our commitment to exceptional service standards. If you are driven by a passion for delivering quality guest experiences, we eagerly anticipate your application.As the Front Office Manager, you will contribute to the hotel’s success by fulfilling the following responsibilities:Key responsibilities: Directs the Front Office, Reservations, Guest Services and Shuttle operations of the hotel ensuring unwavering adherence to the company’s service standards, policies and procedures as well as the city’s health & safety legislations. Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction, boosting revenues, and optimizing cost management across departments. Foster and environment of growth and learning by recruiting, training, and developing team members.
Provides guidance and direction to team members through coaching, counseling and performance reviews Ensures that the company’s image is maintained by all team members through proper grooming and uniform standards Keeps the department informed of all matters pertaining to groups, special guests, hotel functions, etc. Develops relationships with clients, return guests, group contacts, etc. to provide maximum personalized guest service Ensures cash handling and auditing procedures follow established Accounting policies and procedures Liaises and develops a close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments Liaises with guests and team members in matters that require immediate resolution such as guest and staff concerns and/or emergency guest or staff situations Supports the Accounting Department in payroll preparation ensuring the accurate and timely compensation of team members Prepares operational reports as required by management Performs other duties as assignedRequirements: Minimum 5 years hotel Front Office management experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment Ability to establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships and ensures that direct reports do the same Flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel operations, including weekends and holidays Strong command of MS Office and other basic computer applications Knowledge on Visual One Property Management System will be an advantageCandidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
