Mobile Transport Refrigeration Mechanic – up to $43.19/hr & up to $4.74/hr pension

Do you have an excellent attitude and experience working in automotive mechanics? Are you looking for a steady, permanent, day-time schedule with opportunity to grow? Our client is looking for a hardworking, motivated Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team in Kelowna, B.C.

What will you be doing?

• Be a mobile technician going to client sites around the Kelowna area.
• Service, maintain and repair truck / trailer reefer units, air conditioning equipment, container refrigeration units and Gensets.
• Install Reefer units
• Ensure all work is completed to TKBC standards
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service to clients
• Participate in the on call service rotation (Mobile technician) as required.

What do you bring to this role?

• Prior experience in automotive, heavy duty, or refrigeration transportation mechanics.
• Red Seal certification is preferred, but not required.
• Able to commute to Coquitlam, BC for intermittent training as required.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC/air conditioning is preferred.
• Driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable working independently.
