Plumber

We are currently seeking motivated Plumber to join our team for a large food processing company located in Burlington, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone looking to learn new skills and work in Ontario’s largest industry.


Pay: $43.50 + 2 per hour ($45.50)

Shift Times: Night Shift (10PM-6:30AM OR 11PM-7:30AM)
Sunday – Thursday

Training for 2 Weeks on days - 7AM start

What our client offers

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in a manufacturing environment
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Work in compliance with all safety, GMP, HACCP, and SOP requirements
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth operation of processing equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance logs
  • Assist with utility systems including water treatment, steam, and compressed air as needed
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario Plumbing License (306A License)
  • Experience in industrial or commercial plumbing (food manufacturing experience is an asset)
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
    Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends or holidays when required
    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must have their own tools
