Our client within the telecom sector is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for large sized, complex M&A/Post Acquisition project. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, the ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful communications and recommendations and a strategic mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER 3 (6-month contract)
Location: REMOTE (Canada)
Rate: $57-64/H
What’s the Job?
- Project Leadership: Provides overall direction in formulating, developing, implementing, and delivering projects, managing aspects such as scope, execution, and budget.
- Complex Project Management: Oversees multiple sub-projects and tasks, evaluating deliverable changes and their impact on related and interdependent tasks.
- Detailed Planning and Monitoring: Develops detailed project plans, conducts status reviews with team leaders and management, and monitors and controls the project plan.
- Issue and Risk Management: Identifies and resolves business and technical issues, manages project risks, and develops and executes contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintains effective communication of project status with Project Owners, management, and the team, negotiating changes in scope, budget, or schedule as necessary.
What’s Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in managing multiple, complex business or M&A/Post Acquisition projects and leading cross-functional project team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in preparing PowerPoint or Google presentations for executive-level audiences
- Ability to effectively engage stakeholders to establish cross functional alignment for projects
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into meaningful communications and recommendations
