Sales Manager


We are on the hunt for an experienced Sales Manager for a manufacturing client in Edmonton, AB. You will be responsible for driving growth and creating strategic opportunities for the company and is to identify and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and market opportunities to expand the company’s revenue and market presence. This is a full time permanent onsite role.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with all people involved in the decision process
  • Ability to present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff, including executives
  • Organizes face-to-face meetings and conducts sales presentations to introduce our client and its product portfolio, highlighting product differentiation
  • Monitors market conditions and competitor activity in designated territory to support business planning
  • Takes ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual results for the overall account or growth territory
  • Participates in new business and product launch meetings with operations, coordinating with department managers in production planning, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control.
  • Understands customer business strategies, purchasing behaviors, and organizational structures, including regulatory requirements, threats, economic trends, and competition.
  • Regional travel is required


  • Post-secondary education with a business/financial degree is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of proven success in a business development or account management role in an industrial or manufacturing space
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills are required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
