The Accounting Intern will assist the Property Accounting group in the completion of monthly reporting requirements. Depending on individual capability, the duties will range from being clerical in nature, up to and including the preparation of monthly financial reports. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to add solid practical experience to the resume of the successful applicant.



The Opportunity:

The Summer Student will be reporting to the General Manager and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Property and Operations Management teams.


What you will do:

  • Assisting with daily general correspondence and administrative tasks, which include, but are not limited to maintenance of tenant electronic and hard copy filing system, building portal sites, and tenant memo distribution.
  • Supporting the Property Management team, with accounts payable functions, including circulation and administration of operating cost tracking system, accurate cost coding, timely vendor invoicing, and Visa statement processing.
  • Ordering office supplies and other duties as directed by the property management teams.


Who you are:

  • Relationship Skills – ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
  • Organizational/Multi-task Skills – ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer Skills – Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
